Hello i?m a 15 year old guy and i?ve been suffering from lpr for almost a year now. 6 months ago I used to have a very bad breath with a white coat on my tongue and a sore throat with coughing that comes every month, then I went to a doctor and got ppis, antacids and anti candida oral drops. My symptoms improved by 45% now I don?t have a bad breath and I rarely have sore throat and if I do, I don?t get coughs and it usually lasts maximum 4-5 days, and it?s not so sever. Before yesterday I went to a gastroenterologist doctor and he prescribed me with some medication again a 20 mg ppi once a day with some chewable tablets and some other thing. And it seems like it?s getting worse, i?m not getting sore throat or coughing or anything like that, the sour taste is still in my mouth and the white coating is still there only when I chew mastic gum it goes but then it gets back. Idk what to do, should I take melatonin to strengthen my les or what, i?m still young and I want this end and live like a normal person.
